Regular Programs

You don't have to come Sundays to be welcome at Church. Village Kids Club is a great way to begin to be introduced to the community, and your kids to bring their friends and make new friends.

We meet every Friday of the school term, for an afternoon of Fun, Games, Challenges, Bible, Afternoon Tea and Craft!!!

Runs from School end (3pm), right through to 5.30pm by trained leaders, with Safe Ministry Training and WWCC.

Open to all Kids aged Kindy to Yr 5.

We offer a walking bus from Annandale Public, Annandale North Public and St Brendan's Catholic School. Which is great if your looking for After School Care.

Any questions or for more info contact Tiffany at tiffany@villagechurch.sydney

Playgroup is a ministry to families in Annandale and surround that are wanting to connect with other families at the same life stage.

It's a relaxed morning with play and actvities for the kids, conversation and coffee for the adults. Finishing with a time of stories and music.

Every Tuesday of the school term, 10.30am to 12pm - parents, grandparents and carers welcome.

From birth kids have to ability to discover the love and character, of our creator God.

In our Preschool group we want to nurture this beginning faith and relationship with the Lord.

Our little ones, aged 1 to 5, gather in our Cafe Space during Village Mornings. Here, they dive into Bible stories, learning about the wonder of God and Jesus, to begin to build the foundations of faith. All while surrounded by joy, love, and playtime!

We make sure to keep things lively and colourful with music, stories, and plenty of fun activities. And of course, there's lots of colourful crafts!

Parents with babies are welcome to remind in the gathering, or we have the breakout space directly behind the auditorium, where you can still tune into the sermon.

Majority of people come to form a faith in and relationship with Christ between the ages of 5 and 14, and we at Village seek to create an environment where this is possible. As well as learning what it means to be a Disciple.

Our school aged, Kindy to Yr 5 group meets during Village Mornings in the upstairs Blue Room, after engaging with the wider community for song, announcements and church feature spot.

The kids follow a program specially designed by qualified teachers to learn what it means for Jesus to be our Saviour and Lord, and live as Christians.

Our kids get to explore the gospel through epic games, brain-twisting challenges, memorizing scripture, and creating awesome crafts. Plus, our amazing leaders take the time to guide each child personally, helping them understand who God is, what he's done for us, and how we can all have a personal relationship with Jesus.

For many kids SRE is the first and only place they learn about God and Jesus.

Village Church teaches Anglican Scripture (SRE) classes at our two local primary schools. Annandale North Public School is taught on Tuesdays and Annandale Public School is taught on Wednesdays.

Special Events and Camp

Every July we run three packed days of excitement for Kids from Kindy to Year 5 during the School Holidays.

Along with Ultimate afternoons for kids not yet at school.

We had an amazing time in 2024, and can't wait to do it all again in 2025 8th to 10th July

As part of our SRE classes each Easter and Christmas we celebrate with a special Assembly.

Students from Annandale and Annandale North Public gather at Village Church for games, puppet show, drama and Bible.

Family are welcome to attend.

Easter Assembly Wed 9 April 2025

Christmas Assembly Tue 9 Dec 2025

Each Friday of School Term we run VillageKIDS Club for School Kids.

And once a Term we have a Special Mega Afternoon. These weeks we break from normal routine and do some extra FUN Special activities.

They are the following:

  • Games Afternoon and Family BBQ, Term 1
  • Amazing Race, Term 2
  • Dress Up and Movie Night, Term 3
  • Christmas Party, Term 4

Square is a weekend camp just for Yr3 to 6, along with leaders from their Church.

Run by Youthworks Ministry Support Team in partnership with a committee of volunteers.
It's a weekend of Bible, games and fun activities, helping Kids to grow as disciples.

It takes place the first weekend of June, every year.

Every October we join the Annandale community for a crazy fun time!

While Kids and Families are out trick or treating, they can take a stroll by Village Church, for a BBQ dinner, carnival games and a jumping castle.

Every 31 October, from 5-7pm.

We love supporting parents/carers to grow and develop in their role as primary guides and disciplers in their Kids lives.

To help support this we host a series of Family Seminars, on a range of topics, that many families are thinking through.

In 2025 they will take place,

  • Family Partnership Lunch, 12 January
  • Family Seminar Youth, 2 March
  • Family Seminar Kids, 17 August

Refresh is the annual Church Camp.

Taking place in the last weekend of March this is a great way to kick off the year for our community to get to know each other, spend time thinking about God and his Word, and look forward to the things coming up in the year ahead.

A full Kids program runs alongside the adult gathering, with extra fun games and activities, which we don't always have time for on a regular Sunday

At Village we value all ages, and want to provide opportunities that connect all ages.

Each school holidays we run an all in Intergenerational Gathering.

Instead of splitting into kids, youth and adults we spend the whole morning gathering together and hearing from God's word
